Feel free to add in or take out any toppings to make these cheesy chips your own!
Ingredients:
28 oz. frozen French fries
4 strips thick cut bacon, uncooked
1 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. whole milk
1 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. yellow mustard
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 c. shredded mild cheddar cheese
1/2 c. shredded Colby Jack cheese
1/4 c. chopped pickle chips
1 Tbsp. chopped chives
Ranch dressing, for serving
Method:
Start off by preheating the BSA65336PX to around 450° or whatever the directions advise for the frozen French fries. Since it comes with Fast Preheat you can reach temperatures of 200 degrees Celsius in just 5 minutes!
Whilst you wait for the oven to heat up you can begin cooking the bacon on a medium heat. Once browned to your liking you can place the bacon on kitchen paper to drain. Set them aside for now but keep that excess grease in the pan, we’re going to make good use of it in just a sec!
The BSA65336PX should be perfectly heated up now and will make a sound and light signal when it’s ready, so you place the fries on a wide tray and pop them in to cook. Follow the directions for your fries when it comes to timings and check them every now and then to see how they’re coming along. You won’t need to worry about a mix of crispy fries and undercooked ones thanks to Even Bake Tech on the BSA65336PX which uses smartly positioned heaters to enable excellent hot air distribution.
For the cheesy sauce start by whisking the flour into the bacon grease from earlier for around 1 minute.
Then you can whisk in the milk until thickened, this usually takes around 2 minutes.
Next just incorporate the cream cheese, mustard, and salt until they’re all fully combined.
Remove your cheesy masterpiece from the hob and add in the cheddar and Colby jack cheeses, again until completely melted.
Now all you need to do is remove the chips and place on whatever serving plate you wish to use. For big groups you can either have one ultimate plate where everyone dips into or split it up into smaller plates for people to pick at, whatever suits you! With its 77l Capacity you can make as much or as little as you need to.
Pour your cheese sauce over the warm fries and begin to crumble the bacon over. Top with pickles and chives for a simple garnish and serve to those hungry mouths, with a nice helping of ranch on the side!
When its time for clean up the BSA65336PX has two star players to offer. Pyrolytic Self-Clean is able to perform under pressure, using its 500-degree Celsius heat to burn away any grease and grime with total ease. Just wipe off the ashes with a damp cloth and that’s clean up sorted. Steam Clean also blasts away the dirt but using the power of steam. Simply place a tray of water in the warm oven and select Steam Clean, and after 30 minutes you’ll just need a few wipes to reveal a sparkling oven!
You and the BSA65336PX will be the next super duo, especially at mealtimes, thanks to its array of smart and handy features. It’s not just cheesy chips it can whip up, but with 22 Auto Programs and additions like frozen food mode you can easily satisfy any last-minute cravings.
