It has been brought to our attention that some customers recently experienced adverts that could not be skipped when powering on some Hisense TV models. Following a prompt investigation, the cause of this issue has been identified as the result of internal software testing that was made live unintentionally, and this has now been resolved. We would also like to clarify that this is not a feature that will be implemented in Hisense TVs in the future. Hisense is committed to delivering a high-quality entertainment experience for our customers, so we apologise for the frustration this may have caused and thank you for your patience. From June 15th, TikTok TV will no longer be available through VIDAA. We wanted to let our users know that unfortunately, support for the TikTok app on Hisense TVs using the VIDAA platform will officially end on June 15th, 2025; the app will no longer be available to download or use via the VIDAA Store. The decision reflects TikTok’s shift in focus toward mobile and vertical content, which is better suited to their users’ preferred experience. We understand this may be disappointing for some, but the termination of this service will not affect your access to other TikTok apps; you can still enjoy content by casting or mirroring everything from your mobile device to your TV.
