Retail Activation Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking two dynamic and results-driven Retail Activation Managers to oversee and enhance retail operations in North England and South England, respectively. Each role will focus on managing a regional team of Area Sales Managers and optimizing retail activation strategies to maximize return on investment (ROI). The ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in retail management and performance optimization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

  • Lead and oversee a team of approximately 6 Area Sales Managers in the designated region (North England or South England).
  • Ensure alignment and effective management of retail activation activities to drive faster, localized performance.
  • Provide coaching and performance management to the team to achieve business objectives and maximize ROI.

Display Maintenance & Performance Management:

  • Enhance in-store display quality, consistency, and compliance with brand standards across the assigned region.
  • Implement and maintain promoter principles to optimize brand sales and positioning in retail environments.
  • Monitor and report on display performance to identify and address improvement areas.

Call File Optimization & Store Monitoring:

  • Optimize call file lists to improve the efficiency of Area Sales Managers within the region.
  • Actively monitor and manage the performance of priority stores, driving improved retail activation and compliance.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and ensure focus on high-priority locations.

Communication & Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and regional leads to ensure the seamless execution of brand strategies.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for communicating promotional activities and addressing store-level challenges.
  • Foster collaboration between internal and external stakeholders to enhance retail activation outcomes.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educated to a degree level
  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a multi-site or regional role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Strong knowledge of in-store merchandising, display maintenance, and retail activation principles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in performance monitoring and data-driven decision-making.

 

Locations:

  • Retail Activation Manager – North England: Covers the northern region of England
  • Retail Activation Manager – South England: Covers the southern region of England
